## Conservation & Grants Manager

*Applications due 5:00 pm ET, November 9, 2026*

Unique Places to Save is hiring a full-time Conservation & Grants Manager. This is a remote position based in central or western North Carolina, with occasional travel (typically 5 to 10% of the time). The position reports directly to the Executive Director.

You will lead or coordinate conservation projects, keeping them on schedule and on budget and working closely with clients, partners, and contractors. You will help the Executive Director carry out grant-funded projects, tracking tasks, spending, and progress for grant reports. You will also research grant opportunities and write proposals, with support from the Executive Director, for our conservation projects and general operations.

### Pay and benefits

- $60,000 to $70,000 per year, depending on experience
- 20 days of paid time off, covering vacation and sick leave
- 10 paid holidays a year
- Health care reimbursement through QSEHRA
- Cell phone stipend
- Mileage reimbursement at the standard IRS rate when you drive your own vehicle for work
