Located in the Edisto River Basin of Charleston South Carolina
The Point Farm Mitigation Bank protects approximately 1,166 acres of jurisdictional aquatic resources (tidal salt marsh wetlands). The Bank also protects approximately 147 acres of non-jurisdictional lands (uplands) occurring adjacent to the marsh. The buffer includes mature maritime forest that will be preserved and areas that cleared agriculture fields that will be re-established as maritime forest.
