conserve restore habitat badgeThe Scarborough Conservation Mitigation Easement is located in the Inner Coastal Plain Physiographic Region of North Carolina, near the town of Goldsboro. Scarborough is a large, open property that was formerly agricultural row crop field.

Now the 11,342 ft of streams and 118.7 acres of wetland within Scarborough have been restored to their natural state of Coastal Plain Small Stream Swamp and Coastal Plain Bottomland Hardwood vegetation communities.
