Spencer

Spencer Tuttle

Board Chair

Spencer is a corporate strategy and finance professional who predominantly focuses on executing various capital market initiatives along with the buy-side of middle-market to large scale M&A transactions.  He is currently the Senior Director of Corporate Finance for Curia Global - a PE owned contract development and manufacturing company within the pharmaceutical industry.  Spencer obtained a Chemical Engineering degree from North Carolina State University and earned an MBA with a focus in finance from Wake Forest School of Business. Spencer and his wife Kendell currently live in Raleigh, North Carolina and just recently welcomed their daughter Collins into the world.

Lee is President and co-owner of Trinity Design/Build in Durham, NC. His company focuses on historic preservation and new construction, through sustainable practices in design and construction. Prior to Trinity, Lee spent 7 years working with Habitat for Humanity affiliates in Durham and Jacksonville, FL. Lee has a Masters in Divinity degree from Duke University and a B.A. from Wake Forest. A life-long North Carolinian, Lee has a passion for thoughtful, eco-friendly development and protecting the natural beauty of the places he loves. Merging the growing need for housing and development with respect for the land we steward is the model he strives to follow.

Clark served on the board of Unique Places for four years while building and growing a highly successful startup; LoLo - Locals Supporting Locals. LoLo is a relationship-marketing company designed to help its clients around the country market themselves in a more impactful way for local communities. LoLo has been featured in Asheville, North Carolina’s 15 Fastest Growing Startups for three years running. His passion for conserving the natural world and devotion to serving local communities led him to step in as CEO of Unique Places to Save for two years where he applied his valuable business skill set to the non profit space. Clark was born in Wilson, North Carolina and is happiest in the natural spaces of his home state and other unique areas across the country. When he is not working to conserve land and resources or create community around conservation issues, he is spending time in Asheville, NC with his wife and two children.

Joanna Baker leads Resonant Realty, a Western North Carolina-based, value-driven real estate brand at Patton Allen Real Estate. Since beginning her real estate career in 2013, she's helped over 200 folks buy or sell property in Western North Carolina. She approaches each transaction with the enthusiasm of a first-time home buyer, but with the knowledge of a long-time investor. Her clients appreciate her step-by-step process and feel cared for from beginning to end. Joanna strives to approach each client and transaction with the values of Resonant Realty: Ease, Joy, Clarity (through Curiosity) and Connection. Joanna's lived in Asheville since 2004. Before real estate, she helped other businesses grow through public relations and grass-roots connections and started a premium hard cider company. She and her family live in West Asheville.

Lee Lance is the cofounder and CEO of Ecobot, a ClimateTech/NatureTech company that combines decades of environmental consulting expertise with advanced software development. Under his leadership, Ecobot accelerates environmental permitting processes and explores ways to leverage ground truth natural resources data for conservation. Ecobot has raised millions in venture capital, acquired a competitor, and won several awards, including the NC Tech AgTech/CleanTech Award, the Products that Count Award, and a Top Product award from Environment+Energy Leader. Lee is a recognized speaker at events like GreenBiz, the Wildlife Habitat Council (WHC) Conservation Conference, and the Environmental Business Summit. His work, featured in Forbes, Civil+Structural Engineer, and TechCrunch, highlights his influence and thought leadership in environmental and digital landscapes. Lee lives in Asheville with his family.
