Located in the Cape Fear River Basin of Chatham NC

The Bethel Branch Conservation Mitigation Easement is a part of the Cane Creek Umbrella Mitigation Bank in Chatham and Alamance Counties, NC; a collection of eight conservation mitigation easements that aim to provide cumulative ecological benefits for the Cape Fear Watershed.

The Easement Property consists of native vegetation buffering four perennial stream reaches and two ephemeral stream reaches from the potential impacts of the surrounding livestock pastures and dairy operation.
