Located in the Neuse River Basin of Johnston NC

The Old Savannah Conservation Mitigation Easement is 33 acres of former row crop fields that are now dense riparian buffers that help protect streams and ditches that flow into Mill Creek, a tributary of the Neuse River.

Mill Creek is classified as a Nutrient Sensitive Water by the NC Division of Water Resources.
