The Long Pond Branch Conservation Mitigation Easement has been significantly impacted by surrounding land use activities. The degraded stream banks and forested areas currently taken over by invasive species will be restored to their natural and native state. The streams and ditches within the Easement Property will be planted with native vegetation buffers ranging from 50 to 100 ft to provide habitat and protection from damaging land use and runoff.
