Located in the Cape Fear River Basin of Chatham NC

The South Fork Conservation Mitigation Easement is a part of the Cane Creek Umbrella Mitigation Bank in Chatham and Alamance Counties, NC; a collection of eight conservation mitigation easements that aim to provide cumulative ecological benefits for the Cape Fear Watershed.

The Easement Property consists of buffered stream passages that run through rolling hills of cattle pasture, helping decrease nutrient and sediment runoff that enter the watershed.
