Total Acres

8.72

Project Year

2021

Located in the Neuse River Basin of Orange County NC

The Banished Bull Conservation Mitigation Easement was formerly cattle pasture with stream features that were impacted by cattle grazing and pollutant input. The Easement Property currently looks like a beautiful open meadow, but this vegetation will continue to grow and establish a dense riparian buffer that will support biodiversity and help protect the sensitive stream and wetland ecosystem.
