The Twiman Conservation Mitigation Easement is located in a rural area near Boonville, NC between cattle pastures and agricultural fields. The Easement Property encompasses multiple streams, which drain into North Deep Creek, that have been restored to:
- improve water transport in a non-erosive manner,
- improve flood flow attenuation,
- improve in-stream habitat, and
- increase forested riparian buffer to at least 50 ft on both sides of the channel.
