The Grassy Creek Tributaries Conservation Mitigation Easement is a part of the WLS Yadkin 01 Umbrella Bank. Currently made up of two conservation easements, the Umbrella Bank aims to provide stream and wetland mitigation credits to compensate for unavoidable impacts to the Yadkin Pee Dee Watershed.

The Easement Property is located in the valley of steep, hilly cattle pasture that has a spectacular view of Pilot Mountain in Surry County, NC. The native vegetation buffer established within the Easement Property will help protect sensitive stream systems from the pollutants that inevitably flow from the neighboring pastures.
