Located in the Yadkin Pee Dee River Basin of Surry County NC

The Plantation Branch Conservation Mitigation Easement protects reaches of Plantation Branch and four unnamed tributaries that flow through the middle of a landscape consisting of row crop fields as far as the eye can see. The native vegetation buffer within the Easement Property provides habitat, connectivity to fragmented forests, and shade to streams to help decrease water temperature.
