Cloud and Banner protects 56.5 acres in the Cape Fear River Basin, under easement since 2019, with the stream restoration and enhancement carried out by RES. Its rolling hills, streams, native wetland, grasslands and riparian buffers sit between mature forest corridors and the residential and agricultural areas nearby. Unique Places to Save is the conservation easement grantee, so that landscape is protected permanently.
